Split-face stones are the ideal choice for both electric heaters and wood burning stoves, as they retain heat well and allow for efficient evaporation of water. In addition, their angular shape allows for loose placement, which is essential for maximum heat transfer between the stones and heating elements in electric heaters. Stones made of materials such as ceramic, soapstone, or rounded stones are not suitable for use in electric heaters and should be avoided.
